Addressing issues head on

Mergence embraces the multi-cultural and multi-racial diversity of South Africa and we are building a business that reflects this. Mergence has taken an active stance against any form of discrimination and sits on the Western Cape steering committee of the Anti-Racism Network South Africa (ARNSA).

In order to strengthen our diverse cultural ethos and encourage individual thinking we have enlisted specialists to take our team through matters covering a factual account of Apartheid and its impact; the beginning of empowerment in South Africa; challenges of transformation; and potential negative outcomes and consequences of transformation. The team alignment expert is helping us to navigate and dialogue around sensitive but important socio-economic and socio-cultural issues in an open and honest way, whilst helping us to strengthen and embrace our identity as Mergence employees.
