Meet Piwokuhle, Investment Analyst
Piwo joined the Mergence Graduate Trainee Programme in July 2018. She has a BCom Honours majoring in Finance and Investment from the University of the Western Cape, in which she obtained 4 distinctions. While at university she won the FASSET merit award and the Phucula award in 2016. In 2017 Piwo was the tutor co-ordinator for management at UWC’s School of business. In 2018, Piwo received a Golden Key International Honour Society award for her 2017 honours academic performance.

She brings to Mergence a sense of community and organization, having been on her university residence committee and helping arrange a food drive. Piwo is driven by more than just creating wealth. She is governed by the principle of “Living the world a better place than it is” which motivated her decision to join the Mergence team. Piwo developed a passion for picture puzzles as a way of dealing with exam stress and in her “me-zone time”, you will still find her solving puzzles, as well as colouring in and surfing the web while listening to music.
In 2020, Piwo was appointed as an Investment Analyst in the Private markets Investment team.
