Meet Phumelele, Investment Analyst
Phumelele joined Mergence Investment Managers as an Investment Analyst in the Public Markets equities team in November 2021. She currently covers the Diversified Industrials Sector.

Phumelele has achieved a stellar career in a short period since graduating with two cum laude degrees from the University of Johannesburg in 2015. She has worked for the National Treasury, the South African Reserve Bank, Mazi Macquarie Securities, and Arqaam Capital – achieving a broad spectrum of experience which includes co-covering the Telecommunications sector while at Arqaam Capital, setting up international and domestic investor roadshows, and assisting with the issuance of SA government bonds and Eurobonds while at the National Treasury. Phumelele is currently a CFA level 2 candidate.
